Punjab Introduces Mobile Police Stations With 14 Services

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif inaugurated 33 mobile police station vans across the province to bring essential services closer to citizens. Six of these stations, known as Pink Mobile Police Stations, are staffed with female officers to handle cases involving women. The mobile units aim to reduce travel time and expenses for citizens, particularly those in remote areas, by directly visiting universities, girls' colleges, and other locations on a predetermined schedule.

Each van provides 14 police services, ranging from online FIR applications and missing person reports to criminal record checks, tenant registration, and license renewals. Additionally, the mobile units can assist citizens in reporting lost CNICs, cards, checkbooks, and other documents. The Pink Mobile Police Stations will provide specialized services for women, including help with harassment, violence, and abuse.

Authorities will announce the mobile units' schedules via social media, communication channels, and local mosque announcements to ensure maximum accessibility for the public.
