Pakistan’s Biggest Citizen Facilitation Center Announced Offering All Services Under One Roof

Karachi is set to host Pakistan's largest citizen facilitation center, providing access to multiple Ministry of Interior services under one roof. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi unveiled the Grand Khidmat Markaz during a visit to the Ministry's office on II Chundrigar Road. The proposed facility will house counters for all Interior Ministry institutions, enabling citizens to apply for passports, identity cards, arms licenses, NOCs, and other services without visiting multiple offices.

Naqvi instructed officials to draft a comprehensive master plan for the center, considering all necessary requirements, and requested the plan to be submitted within ten days. The minister also visited a new fleet of rescue vehicles supplied from China for Islamabad's Rescue and Fire Brigade. The fleet, the largest addition to the Islamabad Rescue service since 2009, comprises four fire aerial trucks, six fire towers, and five fire tanks equipped with modern firefighting and rescue gear.

These vehicles, capable of operating at heights up to 256 feet, will be stationed at six locations in Islamabad and are expected to arrive from Karachi within five days.
