Kuala Pilah school death: Five students allege bullying by 16-year-old suspect

In Kuala Pilah, five students have come forward alleging they were bullied by a 16-year-old suspect in connection with the death of a Form Two male student last Friday. Police chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad disclosed this information after further investigations into the 69 witness statements recorded so far. The two detained 16-year-old male suspects, both now remanded until October 1 and 3 respectively, were not previously informed about the bullying allegations by the victim.

The victim had never informed his family about the bullying at school. A 16-year-old male suspect was additionally detained by police on September 26 in the investigation. The first suspect, a Form Four student, had been remanded for six days under Section 302 of the Penal Code. On September 25, a Form Two student was injured in an incident at a school in Kuala Pilah, which later led to his death at Hospital Tuanku Ampuan Najihah.
