Raja Muda Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, emphasized the pivotal role of the monarchy in maintaining stability, safeguarding sovereignty, and uniting the people at the Wacana Adiwangsa 2026 event in Dewan Seri Semarak, UiTM Arau. The monarch highlighted the unique position of the monarchy within the framework of a parliamentary constitutional monarchy, which is crucial for maintaining political balance, ensuring government continuity, and strengthening social harmony across ethnicities and religions.

Speaking at the ceremony, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin underscored the importance of preserving and nurturing the legacy, culture, and language of the monarchy as a strategic asset and a symbol of high value identity, rather than mere historical relics. He also advocated for the adaptation of tradition with innovation and technology to ensure continued growth, relevance, and international standing.

The monarch hoped that the Wacana would expand understanding, foster awareness, and strengthen the collective commitment to safeguarding the monarchy, enhancing heritage, and shaping an educated, principled, and well-rounded generation. The event served as an intellectual platform to reinforce societal awareness of the monarchy's institution and the value of preserving heritage, culture, and national identity.

It also focused on efforts to cultivate a future generation that understands history, values heritage, and possesses a strong sense of self in facing change. Other attendees included the Rector of UiTM Arau, Ahmad Nizan Mat Noor; the Chairperson of the Raja Raja Malay Institutions of UiTM, Awang Sariyan; and Deputy Speaker (Promoter of Adiwangsa) UiTM, Amer Shakir Zainol.
