This came hours after Clark's name came up in a congressional hearing where former prosecutor Jack Smith was questioned about attending a basketball game in 2024. Indiana coach Stephanie White told ESPN that the team faces an "infatuation" from fans and players, and that it's challenging to navigate the scrutiny. The Fever have also faced off-the-court headlines, including fans being escorted out of a game for their behavior, a player being ejected for a hard foul, and a coach downplaying a player's social media post about "white privilege."
