How to get to Dubai's Al Yalayis Station, take Etihad Rail and reach your Abu Dhabi office

Dubai’s Al Yalayis Station, located in the Jumeirah Golf Estates, now offers a convenient train connection to Abu Dhabi. This new route, operated by Etihad Rail, provides an alternative to the long drive between the two cities. Tickets start at Dh39 ($10.60) in “comfort” and rise to Dh109 in “premium” class. The train could be a cost-effective option for daily commuters, especially with rising fuel prices.

To reach Al Yalayis Station, passengers have various transport options to consider. The station connects to the Dubai Metro network via a 400-meter pedestrian bridge. For Red Line Metro riders, a five-minute walk across the bridge leads to Jumeirah Golf Estates Metro Station, where they can board the train. Once in Abu Dhabi, passengers can use several last-mile options to reach their final destination. Inside the station, passengers can find car parks with free parking for the first 15 minutes, after which Dh5 per hour applies. For longer stays, Dh30 per five hours is charged. For those arriving at Mohamed bin Zayed City Station, located near Dalma Mall and Mussafah Bus Station, several options are available. Shuttle buses, taxis, and ride-hailing services like Bolt can provide a ride to business districts and residential areas. Etihad Rail partners with Dubai Taxi Company and offers shuttle services for Dh10 per journey in addition to the train fare.

Dedicated routes MR1 and MR2 from AD Mobility connect the station with major bus hubs in Abu Dhabi, such as Abu Dhabi Main Bus Station and Al Zahiyah Bus Station. These routes pass through key areas like Al Jazeera Club, Al Mushrif Mall, and Al Rawdah interchange.
