CJ ENM takes K-content push to London with new partnership

CJ ENM, a media titan responsible for international blockbusters such as "Parasite" and "Crash Landing on You," has forged a new collaboration with the Korean Cultural Centre UK and the Korea Creative Content Agency. The partnership aims to introduce Korean dramas and cultural programming to London audiences. Through a memorandum of understanding, the three entities plan to expand Korean content's reach in the United Kingdom and strengthen relationships among industry professionals.

Their inaugural joint venture, Curated Korea 2026, takes place from October 1-21 at various locations, including the Korean Cultural Centre UK, Foyles Charing Cross Road, and Garden Cinema. The program places emphasis on showcasing contemporary Korean culture by featuring drama screenings, literature discussions, culinary experiences, and networking opportunities.

The drama lineup kicks off on October 1 with "The Ordinary Jackpot," a tale of an office worker who wins a staggering 1.3 billion won ($890,000) in the lottery, prompting him to reassess what meaning holds in life. This is followed by a question-and-answer session with the actors. On October 8 at Foyles Charing Cross Road, "Study Group" will be screened, prompting a post-screening dialogue about the show's themes.
