Attorney says there's "no evidence" Lindsay Clancy admitted killing her kids

On Tuesday, Lindsay Clancy's attorney, Kevin Reddington, presented a surprising argument in her first hearing since her mistrial. Reddington asserted that there was no evidence demonstrating Clancy had killed her children, emphasizing that the case against her seemed to be built on mere speculation. His arguments, however, seemed to contrast with his previous statements during the trial and his opening statement in July, where he claimed Clancy knew what had happened to the children and took responsibility for them.

Furthermore, Reddington had previously offered to stipulate that Clancy admits to killing her kids in a written motion. The prosecutor, Shanan Buckingham, responded by stressing the voluminous evidence supporting Clancy's guilt and challenged Reddington's claims of insufficient evidence. Plymouth District Attorney Tim Cruz stated that the prosecution would continue their work to ensure justice for the three children. The next hearing in the case is set for November 2.
