Saudi foreign minister discusses political, security developments with US Senate Intelligence Committee chair

On Tuesday, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, held discussions with key US Senate officials regarding defense and security cooperation. The meetings took place in Washington, with Prince Faisal engaging in talks with Senator Tom Cotton, chairman of the US Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, Senator Roger Wicker, chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, and Senator Jack Reed, vice chairman of the same committee.

During these meetings, the focus was on recent political and security developments, as well as strategies to strengthen bilateral cooperation. Both sides explored ways to bolster security and stability at regional and international levels. The discussions also covered defense and security coordination and cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the United States, with attention given to recent regional developments aimed at enhancing security and stability in the area.

Accompanying Prince Faisal were Princess Reema bint Bandar, the Saudi Ambassador to the United States; Prince Musab Al-Farhan, advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for political affairs; and Manal Radwan, advisor and special envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for negotiations and peace efforts.
