Ruto issues 94,000 title deeds in Kwale

President William Ruto has issued over 94,000 title deeds in Kwale County, Kenya, addressing years of land and squatter issues in the coastal region. At a ceremony in Kibaoni, Lunga Lunga Constituency, the President presented more than 26,000 ownership documents to beneficiaries. These deeds were part of a larger program that will issue 300,000 title deeds during his current tour of the Coast, with the government's goal of distributing 500,000 title deeds by the end of the year.

The government has invested KSh10 billion to acquire land from absentee landlords and provide proper ownership documents to thousands of Kenyans who had occupied the land for decades without valid titles. President Ruto emphasized the importance of not being deceived by unscrupulous individuals seeking to exploit the titling process.

Additionally, he launched the construction of two major roads in Voi Constituency, Taita-Taveta County, and inspected progress on other development projects, including road upgrades, a modern market, a stadium, and an affordable housing project. President Ruto assured that all regions in Kenya would benefit from equitable development under his administration, rejecting political opposition to government programs based on past failures.
