Russian attack on Kyiv damages 19th-century Exaltation of the Cross Church in Podil
A Russian attack late on Sept. 27 damaged the Exaltation of the Cross Church in Kyiv’s Podil district, shattering windows and icons and damaging wall frescoes, the church’s rector, Archpriest Valeriy Kravets, said on Sept. 29.
