Pakistan Wins Bronze Medal in PUBG Mobile at Asian Games

Pakistan claimed the bronze medal in the PUBG Mobile esports event at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on Tuesday at the Aichi Sky Expo in Tokoname. The national team secured the third place in the final match with a total of 100 points. Thailand emerged victorious with 128 points, while China secured silver with 114 points. The team, consisting of Mohammad Huzaifa, Shayan Asad, Falak Sher, Hasnain Rehman, and Syed Sameer, had initially accumulated 39 points from the opening six matches.

In the final day, they added 61 points from the remaining six games, with standout performances including 16 points in the seventh match and 12 points in the final match. Pakistan's victory in the concluding match contributed significantly to their overall score. Thailand's consistent performance throughout the competition resulted in them topping the competition with a 28-point lead over Pakistan.

China followed in second place with a 14-point margin. Vietnam and Indonesia shared 95 points each, with South Korea in fourth with 71 points, Chinese Taipei in sixth with 62 points, and Jordan in seventh with 61 points. This bronze medal marks Pakistan's fifth at the Asian Games, alongside bronzes earned by the women's cricket team, modern MMA fighter Asim Khan, and squash players Noor Zaman and Ashab Irfan.
