NPP National Chairmanship race heats up; John Boadu as a force to contend with

On October 3rd, 2026, delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) are set to elect a National Chairman – not merely any leader, but someone with the experience and proven record needed to reposition the Party for the 2028 elections. One such contestant is John Boadu, who passionately asserts, "at this critical moment, the NPP must ask one question: who can lead the Party back to victory? My answer is clear. I have done it before, and I am ready to do it again."

Boadu's credentials speak for themselves. In 2016, during a period of internal challenges, he led a team of dedicated members, sympathizers, and volunteers to secure victory. Just a few years later, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, he helped "defend that victory" in 2020. In his role as Acting General Secretary and Director of Operations, Boadu implemented systems to bolster the Party's electoral readiness, including the Pink Sheet Tracking System, swift results collation, nationwide training, and mock elections to test operational readiness.

Boadu emphasizes his extensive experience in elections, having contested and won elections both within the Party and at various levels, from the polling station to national campaigns. He believes that, while others may have long-term ambitions, the immediate task for the NPP is to rebuild the Party, restore confidence, strengthen structures, and ultimately win back power in 2028.

"Those with agenda 2032 can wait. My focus is victory in 2028. I have walked the road to victory before. Let us walk it again, together," Boadu declares. He concludes by urging supporters to "let us bring back the winning ways of the NPP. Vote John Boadu for National Chairman."
