Nagenthran urges Madurantakam electorate to think about horse trading and then vote

BJP State president Nainar Nagenthran urged voters in Madurantakam Assembly constituency to ponder the potential financial exchange that led former AIADMK legislator Maragatham Kumaravel to resign and join the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. He questioned the exact amount of money received by the MLA and suggested the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam had likely paid a significant sum.

Nagenthran, campaigning for the AIADMK candidate in the bypoll, argued that the Tamil Nadu exchequer had to bear extra costs due to the legislator's departure. He also took issue with Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay's recent trip to London, contending the Ashok Leyland deal could have been finalized in India. Critiquing the police force's lack of control, Nagenthran challenged the notion of accountability.
