MP Clive Gisairo survives road accident after double-cabin vehicle rams his car

Kitutu Masaba MP Clive Gisairo shared his experience following a near-fatal road accident in Kikuyu, Kiambu County, on Monday night. The incident unfolded when Gisairo's vehicle was struck from behind by a speeding Isuzu D-Max pickup, which had been rented to the Ministry of Interior. According to the MP, the collision caused the Isuzu to lose control and roll onto the shoulder of the road.

Remarkably, Gisairo's driver managed to bring their vehicle to a halt without suffering any additional damage. Following the collision, Gisairo and his colleagues assisted the two passengers of the Isuzu. However, the MP alleged that the two passengers were subsequently taken away by a government vehicle, registered as GKB 787J, belonging to the Ministry of Interior, shortly after the arrival of traffic police at the scene.

Gisairo confirmed that he had reported the matter to relevant authorities, who are currently cooperating in the investigation. The Ministry of Interior has identified the two passengers and other ministry officers who allegedly removed them from the scene. Gisairo expressed confidence that the full circumstances of the accident and the subsequent removal of the occupants would be thoroughly investigated.

Any officers found to have violated the law would face appropriate disciplinary action. Gisairo and the other passengers in his vehicle emerged unharmed, aside from sustaining muscle pulls due to the impact. The legislator emphasized their safety, apart from the muscle pulls they experienced after absorbing the force of the collision.
