Greater Noida witnessed the conclusion of the fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) on Tuesday evening at India Expo Center and Mart (IEML) in Greater Noida. Established in 2003, India Expo Mart has transformed into a vital trade hub connecting UP’s products and entrepreneurs with international buyers, investors, and business representatives.
The complex, initially built to facilitate access for Indian exporters to global markets, now hosts various businesses across sectors such as handicrafts, textiles, food processing, electronics, agriculture, and manufacturing. In 2025, UPITS witnessed participation from over 2,200 exhibitors and 80 countries, with 288 Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) signed, amounting to approximately Rs.
89 crore in value. The 2026 fourth UPITS drew more than 2,400 exhibitors, attracted 90 countries, and welcomed more than 550 international buyers. The complex has expanded its capacity, increasing from 16 operational halls to 16 and a 17.87% rise in hall area from 64,888 to 76,484 square meters. This growth aligns with the Yogi government’s focus on promoting local products for global markets, positioning UPITS as a key platform for UP’s economic development and global trade presence.
