I housed Shatta Wale for free before mainstream fame – Joint 77

Former SM Militant, Joint 77, has revealed a surprising connection he had with dancehall star Shatta Wale. In an interview, Joint 77 disclosed that he once provided the renowned artist a place to reside for close to a year, fully covering all household expenses during that time. The musician, he said, benefited more from their friendship than he did.

"People say I should be grateful to Shatta because he helped me. Shatta benefited more from me than I did. Even with the car people reference he bought for me, he came back with police to retrieve it. I never told anyone this," Joint 77 added, revealing that the initial vehicle Shatta Wale bought for him was faulty. The artist returned it and procured a new one from a car dealer at Shatta Wale's request.

However, this vehicle later became another source of contention in their relationship, especially after their bond had weakened. Joint 77 hinted at other undisclosed aspects of his relationship with Shatta Wale. He emphasized that their association, known for both joint success and public disputes, has been marked by a complex blend of collaboration and discord.
