German Chancellor Merz Calls Air Defense Ukraine’s Weakest Point Ahead of Winter
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said on Tuesday, Sept. 29, that air defense is Ukraine’s weakest point. He noted that Germany is seeking solutions ahead of winter and the upcoming Oct. 15-16 EU summit. According to him, Russia is showing no interest in serious negotiations, based on the first meeting between German and Russian foreign ministers on Sept. 26.
