Belum ada perbincangan rasmi PH-Bersatu, kata Fahmi

Malaysia's Pakatan Harapan (PH) has not held an official discussion on collaboration with Bersatu, according to PH Communications Director Fahmi Fadzil. The statement came after a media briefing following the UMP funding launch meeting in his ministry. Fahmi stated that any political cooperation decisions will be determined at the PH presidential council meeting.

"At this point, we are waiting for the presidential council meeting. There is no development yet," he said during the media briefing. The PKR spokesperson denied receiving any information about the meeting and only became aware of it through media reports. The meeting reportedly included Bersatu leaders such as PKR Deputy Leader Tun Faisal Ismail Aziz, Election Chief Mohammad Ali Mohamad, Selangor Cooperative Party Chief Sri Sanjeevan, and Selangor PH Communications Chief Hishamuddin Abdul Karim.

Other attendees were Ashraf Mukhlis Minghat, the Khazanah Trust of Melaka Chairman, and PKR Selangor Deputy Chairman Adam Adli. Previously, PH Selangor President Adly Zahari had said his party would use the "PH Plus" formula in PRN and work with other parties, but so far, no involvement with the National Front (BN) has been mentioned.

Discussions with Bersatu on political cooperation are still ongoing and no final decision has been made, pending PH's presidential council discussions. On September 24, Tun Faisal had said that talks on a joint-race partnership with another party ahead of the PRN Melaka continued. The Election Commission (SPR) is scheduled to meet on October 7 to discuss the execution of PRN Melaka, the 16th general election following the dissolution of the Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) on September 23.
