Doha, Qatar - The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has appointed a Board of Trustees for Tamim bin Hamad University for Military and Technology Sciences, according to Amiri Decision No. (37) of 2026. The Chairperson of the board will be the Commander-in-Chief of the Qatar Armed Forces, while the Minister of State for Defence Affairs will serve as Vice-Chairman.
The selected members include: the Minister of Interior, Minister of Education and Higher Education, Minister of Transport, Head of State Security, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, President of the National Cyber Security Agency, President of Qatar University, Dr. Mariam Ali Sultan Al-Maadeed, and Sheikha Dr. Dina bint Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani. The decision allows the Chairman of the Board to appoint additional members with relevant expertise as needed.
