Woman in Benidorm stabbed to death as partner and two others arrested over attempt to hide her body

Three individuals have been arrested following the discovery of a woman's body near Benidorm, Spain. The victim, a 33-year-old woman, is believed to have been killed by her partner and then moved to a rural area near Finestrat. Police are investigating the incident as a potential case of gender-based violence. According to the initial report, the woman was attacked with a knife during an argument at a home in Benidorm.

Afterwards, two acquaintances approached the Benidorm National Police station and claimed that the suspect had confessed to the murder. They stated they helped transport her body to the countryside between Benidorm and Finestrat. One of the men provided a vehicle while the other assisted in the transportation. Both have been arrested on suspicion of concealing the crime.

The body was found in an area described by the two men. The investigation is ongoing, and the three detainees are expected to appear before a court in Benidorm once the police inquiries are concluded. The Government Delegation against Gender Violence is currently gathering information to determine if the death should be officially classified as a gender-based violence killing.
