Winners and losers from a surprisingly calm NASCAR Cup race at Kansas

Eric Wilson stood out on defense, tallying 10 tackles and 1.5 sacks. PFF awarded him an unofficial grade of 84.6 and commended him for five pressures and seven stops. Wilson's ability to take on running backs in pass protection is crucial to the Vikings' defensive strategy. On the other side, Kyler Murray had a challenging afternoon, completing 15 of 29 passes for 168 yards, one touchdown, and an interception.

Murray took three sacks, struggled to create plays outside the pocket, and rushed just twice for 17 yards. His interception came after a batted pass bounced around, falling into the hands of Tampa Bay defensive lineman A Shawn Robinson.

Andrew Van Ginkel played a pivotal role in the Vikings' victory. He recorded a sack and intercepted a pass by Baker Mayfield, also contributing to the defense's success. PFF rated Van Ginkel's performance at 72.5, placing him sixth on the defense. Jeffery Van Ginkel's performance is a testament to the Vikings' defensive depth.

The Vikings' offense faced significant challenges, particularly with Justin Jefferson sidelined in the first quarter. Myles Price stepped up, rushing for a career-high 86-yard touchdown return in the first quarter, extending the Vikings' lead to 10-0. This was Price's first career touchdown since 2016. While Price's performance was a highlight, other aspects of the offense, such as the running game, struggled.

Aaron Jones returned from a knee injury but only managed 17 rushing yards and 34 receiving yards. The absence of Jordan Mason, who is sidelined with a thumb injury, further hampered the running game.
