Menteri Agama Zulkifli Hasan clarified that there are no different services in handling conflicting religious teachings, stating that any accusation related to teachings contrary to Islamic belief will be investigated before any further action. In a press briefing after viewing the Digital IPI program, including the use of Digital Maker Hub facilities at Pondok Darul Furqan, Hasan emphasized that the government always upholds the sanctity of Islamic belief and any accusation concerning teachings conflicting with Islamic belief will be investigated before any subsequent action.

He reiterated this stance when asked about concerns from certain parties regarding the government's action concerning New Age Movement (NAM), including comparing it to actions taken against Global Ikhwan Services and Business Holdings (GISB) earlier. Hasan also stressed that any accusation against any NGO suspected of practicing or following such beliefs would be investigated by the authorities before any further action is taken.

In a related development, the Ministry of Islamic Development Malaysia (Jakim) held a meeting and consultation session with Deputy Prime Minister on Religion Affairs Marhamah Rosli to gather clarifications on the NAM religious belief issue, which is also linked to them. Jakim's Deputy Director Sirajuddin Suhaimee said the session involved the Federal Wilayah Mufti, Jakim Expert Panel, and relevant parties to ensure that the matter is examined from an Islamic belief discipline, religious authority, and the NAM thinking background perspective.
