Stefanchuk announces parliamentary meeting with military leadership on military reform

Verkhovna Rada Chairman Ruslan Stefanchuk has revealed plans for a parliamentary gathering with military leaders to discuss military reform. In the coming days, Stefanchuk intends to convene a discussion that will include the Minister of Defense Yevhen Khmara, the Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine's Armed Forces Mykhailo Drapaty, and other high-ranking officials.

The primary focus of this meeting will be to explore the strategies proposed by the military leadership for the resolution of the ongoing conflict. During a meeting with students and faculty at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv as part of his nationwide tour, Stefanchuk expressed the need for a comprehensive plan to bring the war to an end.

He emphasized that he is eagerly awaiting concrete proposals from the military leaders on this crucial matter. Stefanchuk stressed that professionals should provide their perspectives on resolving the issue, while legal experts should develop a robust mechanism to ensure the flawless implementation of the proposed solutions. This is a continuation of Stefanchuk's "Parliamentary dialogue" tour, during which he has met with university communities in five Ukrainian cities to discuss various topics, including the development of the new Civil Code.
