Report: Mike Evans considered day-to-day with rib injury

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Mike Evans is currently in a day-to-day situation with a rib strain he picked up during Week 3, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The team has not disclosed Evans' recovery timeline, but Rapoport mentioned that he will receive a comprehensive examination on Sunday. Evans had been listed as questionable for the Week 3 encounter against the Arizona Cardinals at Levi's Stadium.

He sustained the injury on a third-and-10 incompletion from Brock Purdy and required assistance from the training staff to exit the field before being transported to the locker room. Prior to the game, Evans had contributed with three catches for 34 yards and a touchdown on six targets.
