He expressed skepticism towards claims from Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang that it might be possible to insert safety measures into certain AI models. Despite Huang's recent comments, Pope Leo maintained his doubts about the feasibility of such solutions.

The pontiff also met with tech leaders Mark Zuckerberg (Meta), Dario Amodei (Anthropic), Greg Brockman (OpenAI), and Elon Musk (SpaceXAI) to discuss a balanced approach between innovation and oversight. The meeting, scheduled with House of Representatives Speaker Mike Johnson, aimed to find a compromise between promoting AI advancements and preventing potential global destruction. Pope Leo emphasized the need for continued dialogue, investigation, and action to ensure AI does not reach a dangerous state.
