Pennsylvania farmer protects 170-acre farm after 70 years, turns down big offers
After 70 years on his 170-acre Bear Meadows Farm in Pennsylvania, dairy farmer Jeff Biddle has permanently protected the land from development. He turned down two lucrative offers and finalised a conservation easement in July 2026, preserving the farm’s agricultural land, forests, wildlife habitat and water resources for the future.
