Pedro Sánchez reclama “privilegiar” el uso residencial y no el turístico de la vivienda

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez urged on Monday in Barcelona to "prioritize" residential use over tourist-oriented property ownership as part of the key factors enabled by the current law. "We must manage the housing market and place the focus once and for all on housing accessibility, privileging residential use of property over tourism, which is one of the enabling factors of the Housing Act," Sánchez stated during an event at the Design Museum DHUB in Barcelona to unveil the report Vidas futuras: un día en 2050.

The Prime Minister did not disclose any specifics on the negotiations the Government is conducting with the government bloc groups to draft a decree on housing following the social mobilization and housing evictions triggered by the Maricarmen case.
