OPay named most trusted fintech brand at 2026 CVA

The Consumers Value Awards, held on September 23, 2026, in Lagos, honored OPay as the most trusted and consumer-friendly fintech brand in Nigeria. OPay received 70.1% of total votes for "Most Trusted Brand (FinTech)" and 70.2% for "Most Consumer Friendly/Innovative FinTech Brand" categories. These awards, based on nationwide consumer voting, signify consumers' confidence in OPay's services.

OPay's Head of Partnerships, Odiase Kolawole, noted that the recognition stems from the company's relationship with its customers, while Team Director, Key Account Merchants, Retail and FMCG, Isimeme Owobu emphasized the awards' alignment with OPay's commitment to putting consumers and merchants first. OPay, established in 2018, offers a wide array of financial services such as transfers, bill payments, and merchant services, and has built a strong reputation for reliability, security, and innovation.
