Lee to preside over meeting on 3 megaprojects

President Lee Jae Myung is set to chair a meeting this week to review the status of the government's three megaprojects, according to his office. The gathering, which marks the third of its kind, is scheduled for Tuesday at Cheong Wa Dae. The discussions will center on strategies to maintain high living standards in the regions where these projects will unfold, as per the presidential office.

The meeting will also serve to assess the current progress of the projects, which are primarily focused on semiconductors, physical AI, and AI data centers. Reports on how to foster sustainable living environments will be submitted by the Office for Government Policy Coordination and the ministries of land, education, culture, and health.

Besides the pertinent ministers and officials from Cheong Wa Dae, senior executives from Samsung and SK will also be present at the meeting, as announced by Yonhap News Agency on September 28.
