LASU denies excluding 2025 graduates from law school list

The Lagos State University (LASU) has refuted claims that some Law graduates from the 2025 graduating class were omitted from the list for mobilisation to the Nigerian Law School. A statement released by the university on Monday clarified that its records demonstrated all eligible graduates had been successfully mobilised. The dispute emerged after a group of 2025 Law students alleged that at least 16 members of the August 2026 cohort were mobilised ahead of their peers.

These claims suggested that some 2025 graduates had been removed from the mobilisation list to make space for the 2026 students. However, LASU's response emphasized that their own records and the University Registry confirmed that the Registrar had forwarded the list of mobilised graduates to the Nigerian Law School. The university urged affected graduates to visit the Registrar's Office to verify their mobilisation status and seek any required clarification.
