I thought AI was too complex until I saw how easily it could sort emails & share business intelligence

I, like many others, initially harbored doubts about the potential of artificial intelligence. At my workplace, our AI applications were limited to grammar checks and content review. However, this perspective began to change when I attended an Enterprise Singapore AI workshop called "Turn Sales Data into Business Action." The workshop, presented by GrabAcademy and OpenAI, aimed to teach participants how to effectively utilize AI in their business operations.

One of the workshop's key features was its integration with ChatGPT, a version that could seamlessly connect with various applications like Gmail and Google Drive. This capability proved particularly useful when I asked ChatGPT to review my emails, organize them by deadline and client, and even craft replies. The accuracy of ChatGPT's responses left me astounded, and it became clear that this tool could significantly streamline my administrative tasks.

Moreover, ChatGPT's ability to assist with customer service was noteworthy. For instance, when faced with a challenging customer review, the AI generated a thoughtful response, allowing me to focus on other critical aspects of my work. This feature was particularly valuable for small business owners who might otherwise struggle to find time to respond to such feedback.

The workshop also delved into the realm of business analysis using ChatGPT. By asking the AI to research trends, rent, competitors, and locations for setting up a cafe in Singapore, I was impressed by its ability to deliver a comprehensive analysis. It provided insights into consumer trends, suggested ideal locations (like Haji Lane / Arab Street), and even generated a cost breakdown for setting up a cafe.

This functionality proved to be a valuable starting point for entrepreneurs, allowing them to conduct their own research and analysis for new markets or consumer bases.
