Houthi military capabilities pose global threat, analyst warns

Political analyst Fares Al-Beel has cautioned that the Houthis' advanced military capabilities present a significant global threat. The militia's possession of such weaponry, Al-Beel argues, violates international norms and endangers global security. Speaking to Al-Ikhbariya Radio, Al-Beel characterized the Houthi group as the world's largest rogue terrorist organization, citing its military prowess and territorial control as reasons for its global menace.

He emphasized that the Houthis operate outside international norms and humanitarian values, a situation exacerbated by their access to advanced weapons. Al-Beel cited specific instances of the group's aggression, including the launch of ballistic missiles at civilian areas in Mokha, Marib, and other regions. He noted that the weapons provided to the Houthis by Iran are especially perilous, describing them as "blind weapons" that indiscriminately strike anything in their trajectory before exploding.
