SERI KEMBANGAN, Sept 28 (Bernama) -- Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Tengku Ampuan Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah today paid their last respects to Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali.

Zahid Hamidi and Awang Tengah Ali Hasan delivered the final honors to Dr Hasmah Ali. She passed away at the National Heart Institute (IJN) around 9.25am yesterday at the age of 100.
The funeral prayer will be held after Asr at Masjid As-Shyarif, Taman Sungai Besi Indah, Kuala Lumpur. Fahmi Fadzil recited the funeral prayer for Dr Hasmah Ali. Her body is expected to be buried at the National Palace in Presint 20, Putrajaya. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced that Dr Hasmah will receive a state funeral with honors befitting a national hero.
