This pilot, who will be issued Foreign Aircrew Temporary Authorisation (FATA), will fly the state government's plane for one year. The two state pilots, Vishvas Rai and Arvind Singh, will serve as co-pilots during this period, undergoing training under the guidance of the FATA pilot.
They must complete 100 hours of flying the jet plane under supervision before being allowed to operate the aircraft independently. A senior officer of the aviation department revealed that the jet will undergo a final test in Canada before departing for India. The 12,000 km journey includes a stopover en route to Delhi.
