Eric Tinkler bids farewell to Kotoko players, hints at possible return

In his address to the players, Tinkler revealed that he had received a lucrative offer from a South African club, which was the primary reason behind his decision to leave Kotoko. He emphasized that the resignation was unrelated to the team's performance or their 2-0 defeat to Aduana FC.

Despite his departure, Tinkler expressed confidence in Kotoko's ability to reach their objectives this season, acknowledging the team's quality and supporting the technical staff, including Diogo and Humphrey, in continuing their work. He expressed gratitude for the players' efforts, dedication, respect, and discipline during his tenure at the club.

Tinkler left the door open for a potential return to the club, stating, "You never know, I might be back. I might be back, but the job is not finished." His resignation came just a day after Kotoko suffered a 2-0 loss to Aduana FC in the Ghana Premier League, but Tinkler emphasized that the match result did not influence his decision to resign.
