The Ghana Police Service has recovered an iPhone 12 belonging to 33-year-old Nana Yaw Kyere, a phone dealer from Kwame Nkrumah Circle, who went missing on September 22. Kyere's alleged kidnapping and murder have resulted in the arrest of three suspects: Philip Dzifa Kofi Tefe, Sarah Osei Adams, and Josiah Obodai. Tefe is accused of selling the victim's iPhone for GH¢100, with the buyer, Sunday Omeje, subsequently cautioned and detained for allegedly receiving the device dishonestly.
Police claim that Kyere left his home on September 19, but did not return. Preliminary investigations suggest he was lured to Tefe's residence in Teshie Agyebla by Adams.
