Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Is Finally Making Double XP Tokens Only Active During Matches

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is introducing a quality-of-life change that players have long desired. With the game's launch, double XP tokens will only count down while players are actively in a match. Typically, these tokens last anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour. This modification aims to enhance the ranking experience, as players have frequently found the current system frustrating.

By limiting their countdown to in-match time, Infinity Ward is making these tokens more valuable and usable. Additionally, Infinity Ward has confirmed the addition of a toggle to allow players to disable the visibility of certain skins in the game. For those who find specific skins unappealing, they will now appear as default character models, reducing the need to view less desirable appearances.
