United Nations spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric emphasized Saudi Arabia's pivotal role in fostering political resolutions to regional conflicts. He highlighted the Kingdom's leadership in mobilizing international support for a peaceful resolution to the Palestinian issue, as well as the New York Declaration. Dujarric stressed that translating this support into tangible actions is now crucial.

The most vital step towards Middle Eastern peace, he asserted, is establishing a credible political process that ends the occupation and establishes a Palestinian state, in alignment with international law and relevant UN resolutions. Dujarric also urged the dismantling of settlement expansion and annexation, as these hinder the viability and territorial integrity of a Palestinian state, and stressed the importance of bolstering Palestinian institutions and restoring financial sustainability to the Palestinian Authority.

He underscored the necessity of implementing the Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict, ensuring sustained humanitarian aid delivery, recovery, and unified Palestinian governance. Dujarric noted that Saudi Arabia has been instrumental in organizing significant UN and international events, including major conferences and upcoming events like the UN World Data Forum and Expo 2030 Riyadh.

The Kingdom has also contributed to establishing new multilateral platforms and is one of the world's leading humanitarian donors, providing substantial bilateral assistance. Dujarric expressed optimism that Saudi Arabia's continued engagement with the UN can translate solidarity into practical support for crisis-affected populations, fostering de-escalation, dialogue, diplomacy, peace, and development.
