BJP Using Education, Religion To Create Division, Alleges Akhilesh Yadav

Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh: Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav launched a scathing attack on the BJP during a press conference on Monday, alleging that the ruling party is using education and religion to divide society. Yadav claimed that the BJP's primary objective is to create divisions rather than address people's concerns.

Addressing the media, Yadav accused the BJP of discriminating against madrasas (religious schools) and providing "half-finished jobs and half-finished education" to the youth. He urged the Samajwadi Party to assume power and improve the condition of shiksha mitras (teachers) by recognizing and respecting their work.

Yadav also alleged electoral roll irregularities, claiming that the BJP had deleted the names of its supporters from voter lists. He pointed to Form 7 applications, which allow the removal of voters' names, and alleged that a single individual had submitted over 100 deletion applications, despite the rule limiting applications to a single person.

Furthermore, the SP chief criticized the BJP's economic policies, stating that the party serves the interests of big industrialists. As the 2027 Assembly elections approach, Yadav sought to strengthen the Samajwadi Party's attack on the BJP by linking educational issues, minority institutions, and electoral transparency to the BJP's alleged politics of division.
