(Asiad) Men's handball coach praises players despite semifinal loss to Qatar at Asian Games

NAGOYA, Japan, Sept. 28 (Yonhap) -- The South Korean men's volleyball team had to cancel their morning training session on September 28 due to a bus mix-up hours before their Asian Games match in Japan. The team was supposed to train before their second group-round match against Chinese Taipei at 7 p.m. at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.

The team had boarded the bus assigned by the organizing committee but it took them to the wrong location, which was approximately one hour away from their morning training site, making it impossible to continue with the planned session. This transportation issue is not a first for the South Korean teams at the Games. Just the day before, on September 20, the South Korean men's basketball team missed their shootaround session before the final against Japan when their shuttle bus failed to arrive.

Additionally, on September 15, the football team arrived at their stadium for a match against Qatar about 30 minutes late after the driver of their bus got lost, causing a delay in their recovery training session the next day due to another bus mix-up.
