2027: ADC, NDC No Threat To APC, Says House of Reps Candidate

In Niger state's 2027 federal Constituency election, Alhaji Ibrahim Dada, the All Progressives Congress candidate for the Bosso/Paikoro seat, stated that the African Democratic Congress and the National Democratic Congress pose no threat to the APC. Dada, whose candidacy was approved by a Minna high court, predicted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago would secure victory.

Dada, a former Chairman of Minna's Niger Tornadoes Football Club, attributed the success to the two leaders' efforts in boosting the country and state economies. He highlighted the significant infrastructure developments across the country and within the state's 25 local government areas, asserting these projects justify their reelection.

Dada urged Nigerians to ignore the opposition's false allegations, emphasizing their poor track record of improving living standards. He vowed to reconcile with his accusers, stressing politics is not a life-or-death matter; his victory is for everyone. Dada called on the youth to avoid violence, warning that thuggery tarnishes their reputation and the state's.

His campaign would be peaceful, focused on delivering improved water, road access, and educational facilities, given the rising population. Fellow APC member Alhaji Kabiru Jazzu had initiated the court proceedings against Dada over a nomination dispute.
