Zamfara AGILE begins supervision of projects in 14 LGAs

The State Project Implementation Unit (SPIU) of the Zamfara AGILE Project has started providing supervision for projects in 14 local government areas across the state. This activity is part of Sub-component 3.2, which concentrates on managing, monitoring, and evaluating the projects. The supervision team has already visited Bakura, Maradun, and Talata Mafara local government areas to evaluate the projects' progress, pinpoint challenges, and offer technical assistance to project teams and other stakeholders.

The team comprises experts covering various aspects such as safeguards, civil works, life skills, communication, financial management, monitoring, and evaluation. The consolidated supportive supervision approach aims to foster collaborative problem-solving and enhance coordination among all teams involved in implementing the interventions.

This approach is expected to enhance reporting and provide real-time technical guidance at both school and community levels. The aim of this supervision is to ensure that the AGILE project's interventions are carried out effectively and according to the project's standards and goals. The SPIU believes that the ongoing supervision will strengthen project implementation, tackle emerging issues, and guarantee that the interventions bring their intended benefits to schools and communities throughout the state.
