Week 3 NFL Survivor strategy and picks with safe, value, and trap picks

Week 3 of the NFL has proven to be unpredictable, with surprises surfacing even in the early stages. Notably, the Raiders entered the season with a 2-0 record, while both the Vikings and the Buccaneers have struggled, starting their campaigns with losses.

In the ongoing Week 3 NFL Survivor contest, I provide a selection of picks for the coming week, including safe bets, value options, and trap picks. Currently, I possess three entries in the competition, with two remaining unscathed and one carrying a single strike.

The Chiefs are favored (-11.5) to defeat the Miami Dolphins, making them a relatively safe choice. The Packers (-5.5) are predicted to triumph over the Falcons, despite the latter's recent struggles. Although there are concerns about the performance of Michael Penix, the Falcons' quarterback situation is not appealing enough to warrant higher odds.

Considering both Buffalo and Seattle as probable winners, the Bills (-7) are favored to beat the Chargers. Meanwhile, the Seahawks (-7) are expected to secure a victory against the Washington Commanders. While Los Angeles has underperformed this season, there is potential for improvement, and the Bills' touchdown margin is deemed reasonable enough to warrant caution.

As for the trap picks, the Seattle Seahawks (-7) at home against the Commanders and the Los Angeles Rams (-7) versus the Washington Commanders are considered the riskier options. LA has been a glaring disappointment this season, but Talib has the talent to rebound. The Bills' touchdown favorite could be saved for Week 14 against the Dolphins, while the Seahawks' game could be reserved for Week 9 against the Cardinals or Week 14 against the Giants.
