Was Caleb Flynn's wife Ashley unfaithful? FBI agent testifies about her husband's bizarre claim

Caleb Flynn, 40, is currently on trial for the murder of his wife, Ashley Flynn, 37, whose body was discovered in their Tipp City, Ohio home in February. During court proceedings on Wednesday, September 23, Alleigha Botner, Flynn's alleged mistress, provided testimony about their relationship and her claims that Flynn repeatedly expressed his desire to kill Ashley.

Botner stated that their two-year relationship began in March 2024, after they both discovered their mutual love for the Harry Potter series. They marked their connection by obtaining matching lightning bolt tattoos, with Botner choosing an arm placement and Flynn opting for his armpit. Prosecutors presented evidence that Flynn harbored negative sentiments towards Ashley, referring to her with derogatory terms and expressing his wish to kill her on a weekly basis.

According to Botner, Flynn made it clear to her that he had only two weeks to terminate their relationship before she would no longer tolerate his behavior. She last communicated with Flynn on February 14, two days before Ashley's death. Prosecutors claim Flynn sent Botner a text message on February 16, the day of the murder, stating, "I choose you. I'm free. Actions will come tomorrow, February 16, a day I'll never forget."
