Two men found dead in separate Alor Gajah incidents, police rule out foul play

On September 27, the bodies of two men were discovered in separate incidents in Alor Gajah. The district police chief, Supt Ahmad Abu Bakar, revealed that the first victim, aged 57, was found in an abandoned shophouse in Cherana Putih, Taboh Naning. The body had been dead for at least two days before being discovered by a concerned member of the public. Ahmad stated that the investigation revealed no signs of foul play, and the victim had been away from his family's sight.

In the second incident, a 38-year-old factory worker was found dead in an apartment unit in Simpang Ampat around noon. The victim, who lived alone, was discovered by his fiancée after failing to answer her phone calls the previous night. The grieving fiancée entered the apartment through a window and found the victim unconscious, promptly calling for medical help.

Following the discovery, no evidence of break-ins or foul play was found in either case. Consequently, the police have classified the incidents as sudden death (SDR). Both bodies have been transported to Alor Gajah Hospital for further examination through post-mortem to ascertain the precise cause of death.
