Two men found dead in separate Alor Gajah incidents, police rule out foul play

ALOR GAJAH, September 27 — In two separate incidents in Alor Gajah today, the bodies of two men were discovered. The district police chief, Supt Ahmad Abu Bakar, reported the first incident, where a 57-year-old man was found in an abandoned shophouse in Cherana Putih, Taboh Naning at 11:30 am. The body had been there for at least two days.

A preliminary examination showed no signs of foul play, suggesting the victim may have been in the area without his family's knowledge. The second incident involved a 38-year-old factory worker found dead in an apartment unit in Simpang Ampat around noon. The victim had been living alone and was discovered unconscious by his fiancée, who entered the home through a window after he failed to answer phone calls the previous night.

Neither incident suggested any break-in or foul play, and both cases have been classified as sudden death (SDR). The bodies have been taken to Alor Gajah Hospital for post-mortem examinations to determine the exact cause of death.
