The Vvaan collection Day 2: Sidharth, Tamannaah film sees 37.5% jump; grosses over Rs 20 cr

On the second day of its theatrical release, Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia's fantasy thriller, The Vvaan, experienced a 37.5% increase in box office collections compared to the previous day. The film opened with a net collection of Rs 8 crore in India on its first day of release, which followed by a net collection of Rs 11 crore on its second day, according to Sacnilk industry tracker.

The total India net collection for The Vvaan now stands at Rs 19 crore, with a gross reaching Rs 22.60 crore. The film earned Rs 1.25 crore from overseas markets on Day 2, bringing its total overseas gross to Rs 2.25 crore. Worldwide, the film's gross has reached Rs 24.85 crore after two days. The Vvaan maintained an overall Hindi occupancy of 38.54% on Day 2, with morning shows at 16.54%, afternoon at 38.38%, and evening at 38.92%.

Night shows had the highest occupancy at 54.92%. Chennai led in overall occupancy at 70.3%, followed by Bengaluru at 56.5% and Pune at 44.5%. In major cities, the NCR registered 41% occupancy, Chandigarh at 40%, Mumbai and Lucknow at 38.8%, Hyderabad at 34.5%, Kolkata at 33.3%, Jaipur at 31.5%, Bhopal at 27.8%, Ahmedabad at 27%, and Surat at 17.3%.

The film's director, Deepak Kumar Mishra, reflected on its performance, noting that it performed better than Sidharth Malhotra's last three releases, Param Sundari, Yodha, and Thank God.
