The Vvaan Box Office Collection Day 2: Tamannaah Bhatia And Sidharth Malhotra's Film Records 37% Growth, Collects ₹11 Crore

The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, hit Indian theatres on Friday, September 25. The supernatural thriller also featured Anup Soni, Sunil Grover, Shweta Tiwari, and Maniesh Paul in supporting roles. According to Sacnilk, the film saw a 37.5% increase in collections on Day 2, earning an estimated Rs 11 crore net in India.

This marks a 37% growth from its Day 1 collection of Rs 8 crore, bringing the film's total India net collection to around Rs 19 crore. The film's gross collection in India has reached approximately Rs 22.60 crore. Overseas markets contributed around Rs 1.25 crore on Day 2, bringing the total overseas gross to Rs 2.25 crore, with the worldwide gross collection currently standing at approximately Rs 24.85 crore.

Reports estimate the production budget for The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest at around Rs 80 crore to Rs 100 crore, with overall costs, including production and promotional expenses, estimated at approximately Rs 150 crore. While the Day 2 growth is a positive sign, the overall collections are still relatively modest compared to the reported investment.

For the film to become profitable, substantial growth in the opening weekend would be required if the total cost is closer to Rs 150 crore.
