Saraki, Dangote, Kirk Franklin honour Aig-Imoukhuede at 60

The 60th birthday celebration of businessman and philanthropist Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede was a night of glamour, music, family, and heartfelt tributes. Held in a venue adorned with black-and-gold decorations, the event welcomed distinguished guests including former President Olusegun Obasanjo, business mogul Aliko Dangote, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, and former Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomhole.

Aig-Imoukhuede, dressed in a black suit and bow tie, was accompanied by his wife Ofovwe, who exchanged warm greetings with the guests.

A significant moment of the evening occurred when Aig-Imoukhuede and his family gathered around a four-tier white-and-gold birthday cake, as he cut it amid cheers from the guests. The celebration was set to an upbeat rhythm, with American gospel singer Kirk Franklin performing, and Aig-Imoukhuede dancing to his music alongside his wife.

The event celebrated Aig-Imoukhuede's achievements in business, politics, philanthropy, and public service, with guests reflecting on his leadership at Access Bank, his roles as former President of the Nigerian Stock Exchange and Co-Chairman of EnterpriseNGR, and his contributions to building institutions and opportunities in Africa.

President Bola Tinubu congratulated Aig-Imoukhuede, acknowledging his tenure at Access Bank and his role in the institution's growth. Aig-Imoukhuede expressed gratitude to God for life, grace, family, friendship, and purpose, acknowledging the support of his family, friends, colleagues, and mentors in his journey.
